“I came across this old photo and thought I’d share it. It was Tarsus in 1977 and I was meeting an Orta 1 class to tell the kids the classroom had changed. We all look quite confused. A Lise student, Metin Gonen, was following me from a distance doing a photo study for his Photography class with Mr. Steve Coe (of Arlington). Later, Metin showed me the shots and we had a good laugh. It’s kind of neat to have them now.
It all seems so long ago and then sometimes like yesterday.”
